William Fisher,43, of Strong City, former Newton resident, was fatally injured Friday in a farm accident west of Strong City. He was operating a tractor that overturned and was killed instantly.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Brown Bennett Funeral Home in Cottonwood Falls, The Rev. Willard Van Patten, Methodist minister of Strong City, will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery here.

Mr. Fisher was born Nov. 6, 1921 in Newton. He was married Aug 24, 1951 to Leida May Rich in Bentonville, Ark. They moved to Strong City last August.

In addition to his widow, survivors include three sons, Wayne, Charles and William of Strong City, a daughter, Mrs. Wayne Hinz of Whitewater: his parents Mr. and Mrs George Fisher of Newton: two brothers, Harold of Wichita and Ralph of Concord, Mass., and four grandchildren. Two brothers, Carl and Lloyd, preceded him in death.
