Loretta Mae Loomis, 57, registered nurse, died Tuesday (March 25, 1997) at her home in Newton.

She was born on Oct. 19, 1939, in Burrton to Clayton and Waunita Jantz Decker. She married Donald L. Hall on Oct. 27, 1957, in Whitewater. He died June 16, 1967. She married Gerald W. Loomis on Jan 3, 1969, in Newton they divorced in 1984.

She attended Newton Bible Church. She was a registered certified emergency nurse. From 1975 to 1991, she was a licensed practical nurse at Bethel Deaconess Hospital, and from 1991 to present, she was a registered nurse at Newton Medical Center.

Survivors include her mother, Waunita Decker of Newton; three sons, Bradley Hall of Goessel. Todd Hall of Newton and Craig HJall of Clearwater; two daughters, Stephine Regier of Goessel and Faith Loomis of Newton; two brothers, Larry Decker of Clearwater and Tony Decker of Wichita; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Clayton, who died in 1969.
