Obituary

Esther L. Regier, 92, 1200 E. Seventh, died today (Nov. 30, 1999) at Presbyterian Manor in Newton.
She was born June 23, 1907, to Harry and Anna (Robbins) Fick. She married Walter E. Regier Oct. 10, 1931, in Newton. He preceded her in death Jan. 24, 1996.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Newton, Newton PEO and Ladies Reading Circle.
Survivors include: one daughter, Sharon Moore of Wichita; two grandsons; and two step-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, James Fick; and one sister, Ruth Ayers.
Graveside service will be 9 a.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Newton with the Rev. Alden Dick officiating.
Friends may sign the book until 5 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Petersen Funeral Home.
Memorials have been established with First Baptist Church or Newton Presbyterian Manor in care of the funeral home.
