Jeanne Milne
HESSTON -- Jeanne Milne, 70, formerly of Halstead, retired medical records clerk for Hertzler Clinic in Halstead, died Monday (Dec. 6, 1999) at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
She was born Aug. 28, 1929, in Furley to G.S. and Lucille (Fluke) McCorkle. She married Walter L. Milne Sept. 5, 1947, in Sedgwick. He survives of the home.
She had been a Halstead resident since 1993. She recently moved to Hesston.
She was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Newton and VFW Auxiliary No. 3600 in Climax Springs, Mo.
Other survivors include: one son, Rod Milne of Maize; two daughters, Sheila Anderson of Colwich and Deadra Halsey of Moorehead, Ky.; one sister, Kaye Berger of Sedgwick; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick.
Memorials have been established with Central Homecare and Hospice in care of Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead.
