Karrie Lee McCormick
WHITEWATER -- Karrie Lee McCormick, 17, junior at FredrickRemington High School, died Sunday (Dec. 12, 1999), as a result of a car accident on Highway K -196 near the Butler and Harvey county line.
She was born Nov. 3, 1982, in Wichita to Byron L. and Jamie (Bean) McCormick. They survive of Whitewater.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Newton.
Other survivors include: two brothers, Jason McCormick and Andy McCormick, both of the home; two sisters, Jennifer McCormick and Kellie McCormick, both of the home; maternal grandparents, Waymon and Imelda Bean of Rogers, Ark.; and paternal grandparents, Clyde and Sarah L. McCormick of Wichita.
Rosary service will be 7 p.m. today at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Newton. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday also at the church with Father Ken Schuckman officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Church Cemetery.
Friends may call until 4 p.m. today at Bob Lamb Funeral Home in Whitewater.
