Betty F. Bear
Betty F. (Howell) Bear, 75, 709 E. Second, former Harper and Lyons resident, died Thursday (Dec. 16, 1999) at Newton Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 6, 1924, in Lyons to Dode J. and Adah Gwendalyn (Taylor) Kurtright. Her parents preceded her in death. She was a retired Boeing employee.
Survivors include: three daughters, Tenlea Werner of Newton, Dana Veach of Derby and June Benz of Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th in Wichita. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jeffrey Gannon officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
