Jeffery D. Charles
SEDGWICK -- Jeffery D. Charles, 25, of Sedgwick, died Wednesday (Dec. 22, 1999) at Wichita.
He was born Oct. 24, 1974, in Wichita to Ronald and Janett (Marler) Charles. He married Lisa Anderson Nov. 9, 1996, Sedgwick. She survives of Sedgwick.
He enjoyed fishing, boating and softball.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Alexis Charles of Sedgwick; mother and step father, Janett and John Newman of Benton; step mother, Leigh Charles of Sedgwick; one brother, Lawrence Charles of El Dorado; one step sister, Laura Fry of Sedgwick; and grandparents, Twyla Marler and Helen and Lester Charles, all of Wichita, Goldie Newman of Benton and Richard McGinn of Sedgwick.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, William L. Marler, Marie McGinn and Mary E. Tucker; and step brother, Dustin Fry.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Sedgwick United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Wharton officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Petersen Funeral Home.
