Alvin T. Dyck
HESSTON -- Alvin T. Dyck, 74, trucker, died Monday (Feb. 26, 2001) at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
He was born Jan 13, 1927, to Jacob and Amanda (Neufeld) Dyck in Bessie, Okla. He married Luella Peters Dec. 23, 1946, in Newton. She survives.
He was a former member of Walton Mennonite Church. He moved to Newton when he was 2 years old and lived on the same farm since that time.
Other survivors include: two sons, Gerald Dyck of McPherson and Robert Dyck of Burrton; a daughter, Jeannette Dyck of Denver; two sisters, Erna Ratzlaff and Agnes Jantz of Newton; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home in Hesston.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home with the Rev. Verney Unruh officiating.
Burial will be in Walton Cemetery.
