Ben H. Northcott Jr., Friday night received a message coming from the war dept announcing that his younger brother, Lieut. Northcott, had been killed in action in France, Aug. 22, 1944. Lieut. Northcott was an officer in the signal corps assigned to Gen Patton's army in the drive through France.
