Dr. George A. Westfall Sr. died Wednesday night, September 18, 1957. He had been a patient in the hospital for almost a year.

Dr. Westfall was a member of the Clinic Staff for over a quarter of a century, coming here from Harper in 1929 to join the Clinic Staff with Dr. A. E. Heretzler. He was a former chief of staff of the Hertzler Clinic, a member of the American College of Physicians, of the American Diatetic Society and the Harvey County Medical Society, the Kansas Medical Society and the Harvey County Medical Society.

A veteran of World War I, Dr. Westfall was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the American Legion and the Elks and Masonic lodges and the Halstead Presbyterian Church.

Born Sept. 26, 1890 at Harper, Kansas, he was 66 years old at the time of his death.

Survivors: Widow, Della, two Sons, Dr. George A. Westfall Jr., Halstead and Dr. Cad Benson Westfall, Ft. Worth, Texas and his mother, Mrs. Corda Westfall.

Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church with burial in the Halstead Cemetery.
