Hudson, Frank

The Newton Kansan

Kansan, Monday, August 9, 1937

Frank W. Hudson was born April 7, 1856 at Newton Falls, Ohio, the son of Ayres Samuel(1827-1898) and Alice Elsie Merrill(1824-1889) Hudson. He with his family moved to Michigan in 1865, coming to Kansas when a lad of sixteen, settling with hnis parents and family in Macon township, March 25, 1872.

In later life he made his home in Burnham, Mo., often visiting his sister and niece, Mrs. Mary Noble and Corna Noble of Newton.

He married May Kisner, who preceded him in death in November, 1930. He helped build and organize the Baptist church in Burnham and was a charter member and active throughout his life in church work.

Interment was made in Greenwood cemetery here by the side of his sister, Mrs. Nettie Martin.
