Obituary

Alfred Roy Hall, son of Wiliam & Mary Hall was born at Arkansas City, Kansas on January 31, 1889 and departed this life at the Halstead Hospital on August 26, 1960 at the age of 71 years, 6 months, 25 days.

He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Chrismore at Wichita, Kansas on December 20, 1916. To this union five children were born, four sons and one daughter. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth and children: Alvin of McPherson; Elbert of St. Louis, Missouri; Gerald of Halstead; Bob of Salina and LaDean Willm of Halstead. He is also survived by stepbrothers and stepsisters; Raymond of Dallas, Texas; Harley and Lester of Fort Worth, Texas; Arthur of Spokane, Washington, Eric of Ashville, North Carolina; Mrs. Katherine Leaman and Mrs. Edith Springs of Dallas, Texas and Mrs. Willa Robers of ElPaso, Texas, eight grandchildren. His parents, one brother (Earl) and two step-sisters preceded him in death.

Almost his entire life was spent on the farm southwest of Halstead. He moved to Halstead in December 1958. He held his membership in the Masonis Lodge, No. 45 of Halstead, Kansas of all Free and Accepted Masons since 1915. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Halstead, uniting with the same on April 6, 1947.

Funeral services were held at the First Methodist Church with Rev. H. G. Feldmann officiating.
