Gerald "Bink" L. Hall, 69, Halstead, died Friday June 10, 1994 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas.
He was born Dec. 14, 1924 at Halstead, son of Alfred Roy and Elizabeth Chrismore Hall. A Halstead resident for most of his life, moving back to Halstead in 1980 from Cheney, he was a retired water-supply supervisor for the Wichita water department and was a former police officer of the Halstead Police Department. More recently, he was a real estate agent for Centuury 21 Hershberger/Slack of Newton.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Chuirch, the American Legion and was a Past Master of the Halstead Masonic Lodge, all of Halstead, belonged to the Elks Lodge and the Board of Realtors, both of Newton, the Wichita Board of Realtors, the Kansas and National Association of Realtors, the Harvey County Law Enforcement Association and was a retired member of the Halstead Reserve. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
On Dec. 28, 1946 he married Maxine Sheffler at Wellington. She survives. Other survivors: son, Gerry A. Hall, Belton, Missouri, daughter Paula J. Voth, Cheney; brother, Robert E. Hall, Halstead; sister LaDeen Willm, Halstead and five grandchildren.
Funeral was held at the First Methodist Church with the Rev. James A. Mardock presiding. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
