Obituary

Elbert W. Hall, 65, Emporia, Kansas, formerly of Halstead died Monday, April 21, 1986 at Melvern Lake, Lyndon, Kansas. He was born Jan. 17, 1921 at rural Sedgwick, son of Roy A. and Elizabeth Chrismore Hall. He grew up in the Halstead area and was a 1940 graduate of Halstead High School. He married Jerry Wofford, Aug 22, 1962 at Alton, Ill. He was a retired electrician and had been a resident of Emporia for 18 years moving from Illinois.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Halstead, a World War II Navy Veteran and a member of the VFW.

Survivors: his wife of the home; three sons, Ronnie and Terry, both of St. Louis, Missouri; and Allan, St. Charles, Missouri; daughters; Sue Kidd, Tahlequah, Okla; Jane Bohler, St. Louis, Missouri and George Ann Harder, Olathe, Kansas; his mother, Elizabeth Hall, Halstead; brothers, Gerald and Robert, both of Halstead and one sister, LaDeen Willm, of Halstead.

Services were held at Kaufman Chapel, Halstead with the Rev. Roger Shanks. Burial in Halstead Cemetery. Memorials to the heart fund.
