Mary Ann (Perry) Smith

She was born on Feb. 27, 1938, in Bartlesville, Okla., the daughter of Robert E. and Bessie Helen Foster Perry. Mary Ann was raised in Bartlesville, where she graduated from high school in 1956.

Mary Ann married Bobby L. Smith on July 7, 1956, in Bartlesville. They first moved to Newton in 1974. Bobby's work would take them to several other areas before returning to Newton in 2008.

Mary Ann had worked in the loan department at Midland National Bank in Newton for eight years.
