Obituary

Waldo Herbert (Jack) Hanselman was born to William Hayes Hanselman and Nettie Myers Hanselman July 6, 1902 west of Burrton where he spendt most of his life as a child and laters as a farmer. He loved to hunt and fish and it was while on a hunting trip he succumbed to a fatal heart attack Nov. 2, 1955 at the age of 53 years, three months and 27 days.

He was married Oct. 29, 1926 to Velma Jewell. They had just celetrated their 29th wedding anniversary. To this union four children were born who survive him; Jackie Wayne Hanselman, 2101 East 1st, Hutchinson, Mrs. Joan Eileen Kaufman, 1007 East Sherman, Hutchinson; Mrs. Joyce Jewell Holcomb of Haven, and Jay David Hanselman of the home in Haven.

He leaves to mourn his death besides his children, his loving wife, Velma of Haven; his mother, Mrs. Nettie Hanselman of Burrton; one sister, Mrs. Farrell Carmichael of Sedgwick; one nephew, Duane Carmichael of Sedgwick and nine grandchildren.

Burial was in the Burrton Cemetery.
