Obituary

Roy E. Gresham, 41, of Bay City, Texas died in St. Elizabeth's hospital in Hutchinson last Thursday night after four days illness. His death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage.

Born May 3, 1908 in Burrton, he was a son of Mr. & Mrs. Reggie Gresham. He spent his early life in this community then moved to Hutchinson where he was a resident until four years ago when he moved to Bay City. He was visiting in Hutchinson when he became ill. He was a World War II veteran and a past commander of the American Legion Post in Bay City where he operated a welding and repair shop.

He is survived by his wife; son Keith of Bay City; two brothers, Neil of Kinsley and Glen of Arlington, Virginia.

Funeral services were held Saturday in the Johnson and Sons chapel in Hutchinson with burial in the Burrton cemetery.
