Obituary

Wichita - Raymomd E. Gresham, 81, died July 7, 1997 at his home. He was born Dec. 9, 1915 at Burrton, the son of Clyde E. & Mary McFarland Gresham. A Wichita resident since 1942, moving from Halstead, he was a retired Coleman Co. receiving clerk.

He belonged to Halstead Masonic Lodge No. 46 and was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II.

On April 12, 1939 he married Doris L. Peaney at Bentley. She died January 20, 1990.

Survivors: two sons, Larry E. Gresham, Valley Center and Russell E. Gresham, Wichita and a sister, Vesta of Wichita; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, with the Rev. Kenny Powers presiding. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in the Halstead Cemetery.
