Obituary

Nellie Matlack, 87, died Monday at Hutchinson Hospital. Born Nellie Carmichael Oct 27, 1891 at Burrton, she married Karl Matlack Jan 14, 1912 at Burrton. He died in 1958. She was a lifetime area resident.

She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

Survivors: sons, Everett, Chase, Ks; Harley, Casper, Wyo; Neil and Wayne, both of Burrton; Virgil, Sterling, Colorado; brothers; Ray Carmichael, Meade; Clyde Carmichael, Burrton; sisters Goldie Carmichael, 548 East Sherman, Hutchinson; Neva Fern Romig, Haven; 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the church with the Rev. LaVerne Williams and Rev. Wayne Flanders. Burial was in the Burrton Cemetery.
