Obituary

Georganna E. Riggins, 79, died July 21, 1999 at Hutchinson Good Samaritan Village. She was born June 7, 1920 at Burrton, the daughter of Harvey Charles and Ethel Muriel Carmichael Collins. A 1937 graduate of Haven High School, she had lived in Burrton for 40 years, moving to Pratt in 1968 where she was a homemaker and a sales clerk in ladies' apparel at Brungardt's for 10 years. She lived in Liberal for eight years, retiring from Ann's Casuals in 1988. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church at Pratt.

On June 12, 1941 she married Raymond James Riggins at Hutchinson. He died Oct. 15, 1980.

Survivors: daughter, Sharen R. Morian, Hutchinson; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Phil, Sam and Jim Collins.

Burial was in Burrton Cemetery.
