Bernard Everett Stone, 73, Hutchinson, died Wednesday July 8, 1998 at Hutchinson Hospital

He was born September 19,1924 at Burrton, son of Austin and Docia Mae Carmichael Stone. He was a graduate of Burrton High School. A long time Burrton resident, he was a retired agent for the Kansas Cepartment of Revenue, Bureau of Alcohol Beverage Control. He was a member of United Methodist Church and National Prisoners of War Association. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, serving during World War II.

He married Maxine Roberetson at Burrton on June 16, 1945. She died January 17, 1976.

Survivors: son, Greg A. Stone, Inman; three daughters, Lynn Moulton, Hutchinson and Sandy Stone and Kathy Jan Considine, both of Burrton; sister, Barbara Hoskinson, Hutchinon; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside service was Saturday, July 11, in Burrton Cemetery.
