Obituary

Leon O. Hoskinson, 76, Hutchinson, formerly of Burrton died Tuesday Aug. 9, 1994 at his home. He was born Jan 14, 1918 in Sedgwick County, Kansas, son of Washington L. & Mary Frances Osborne Hoskinson. A Hutchinson resident since 1991, moving from Burrton, he was a retired farmer and stockman

He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Burrton and the Masonic Lodge #238, Mt. Hope, Kansas. He married Barbara J. Stone at Burrton on April 13, 1941. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Colin L. Hoskinson, Gilbert, Arizona; daughter, Pamela J. Benjamin, Hemet, California; mother, Hutchinson, two brothers, Jack W. Hoskinson and Philip D. Hoskinson, both of Burrton; sister, Marie Moore, Wichita; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral was held Friday Aug 12 at Elliott Mortuary chapel, Hutchinson. Burial was in the Burrton cemetery.
