Obituary

Barbara Jean Hoskinson, 83, of Mea, Arizona, former Burrton resident who moved to Arizona in 2001, died April 3, 2005 at an assisted living cemter in Mewa. She was born March 18, 1922 at Hutchinson, the daughter of Austin and Docia Carmichael Stone. She graduated from Burrton High School in 1940. In 1941 she married Leon Hoskinson. He died in 1994. She was a homemaker and a member of Plesant Grove United Methodist Church, rural Burrton.

Survivors include a son, Colin "Corky" Hoskinson, Gilbert, Arizona; daughter, Pamela Jean Benjamin, Hemet, California; three granddaughters, Sarah and Jamie, daughters of Paemela and Brooke, daughter of Colin. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Stone.

Graveside service will be Saturday, April 9, 2005 at the Burrton Cemetery.
