Margaret Brown

Margarete Brown, 77, died January 6, 1990 at Good Samaritan Center, Hutchinson. She was born August 5, 1912 at Mottgers, Germany, daughter of Wilhelm and Elizabeth Hoefner Lotz. A Burrton area resident since 1951, she was a retired seamstress at the former Meschke's North Store in Hutchinson. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, the Senior Citizens Center, Haven, and the Extension Homemakers Unit in Burrton.

She married Peter Mueller at Frankfurt, Germany in 1939. He died in 1941 at Kiev, Russia, during World War II. She later married Harvey W. Brown in 1951 at New Brunswick, New Jersey. He survives.

Other survivors include a son, Peter Mueller, Morrow, Ohio and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wedneday at the Ziion Lutheran Church, Hutchinson. Burial Will be in Burrton Cemetery.
