Obituary

Frank S. DeWater, 81, died at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 1954 at the Halstead Hospital after a 2 week illness. Mr. DeWater was a retired farmer who lived in this community 65 years. He was born August 7, 1873 in Michigan.

Survivors: widow, Mary; two sons, Ralph H., 615 North Washington, Hutchinson, Kansas and John W., Wichita; three brothers, Lewis of Elk Falls; Hugh and Elmer, both of Seattle, Washington; one sister, Mrs. I. W. Johnson, Seattle; six grandchildren.

Funeral will be at the Evaangelical United Brethren church southwest of Burrton with Rev. R. E. Jones officiating. Burial will be in Burrton cemetery.
