Obituary

Ralph H. DeWater, 79, Crystal Drive, South Hutchinson, died April 20, 1990 at Hutchinson Hospital. He was born February 5, 1911 southwest of Burrton, the son of Frank and Mary Helen Carmichael DeWater. A graduate of Burrton High School and a resident of South Hutchinson, Hutchinson and Burrton areas most of his life. He owned and operated Independent Oil Co., South Hutchinson.

He was a member of South Hutchinson United Methodist Church. On August 31, 1931, he married Verena Lois Dressler at Hutchinson. She survives.

Other survivors: son, Russell "Bud", 221 East Avenue E., South Hutchinson; daughter,, Janice Frye, 4101 North Halstead, Hutchinson, nine grandchildren and nine great randchildren.

Funeral wervices will te Monday at South Hutchinson United Methodist Church with Rev. Tim D. Hutabarat presiding. Burial will be in Burrton Cemetery.
