Obituary

Orval M. Matlack, 69, died Friday at St. Frances Hospital, Wichita. He was a brother to Mrs. Opal Culber, 309 East 15th. He was born November 6, 1908 at Burrton. He married Blanche Harris July 16, 1928 at Hutchinson. He had lived in Wichita since 1949.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Unity Lodge AF and AM, charter president of Clearwater Lions' Club, all of Clearwater; Wichita Consistory and York Rite, Midian Shrine, Honorary member of Wichita Homebuilder's Association, all of Wichita and former Burrton City Council member.

Survivors: widow of the home; son, Donald, Clearwater, daughters Mrs. Nancy Kays, Jeddah, Saudia Arabia; Mrs. Elaine Watt, Agoura, California; brother, Ray, Burrton, sister, Mrs. Alice Morris, Springfield, Missouri; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services were held at the church and Masonic graveside services will be at the Burrton Cemetery.
