Obituary

Hulda (Hege) Bewick, 89, Larchmont, New York, formerly of Halstead, died March 22, 1991. She was born Feb 17, 1902 near Sedgwick, the daughter of Jacob Henry and Anna Barbara Lisey Hege. She was a retired school teacher.

Survivors: sister, Esther Ashcraft, Enid, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Tillie Hege, Newton; three nephews, Harold Hege, rural Sedgwick; Don Ashcraft and Loren Ashcraft, both of California; and Keith Hege, Tuscon, Arizona; four nieces, Lois Griffith, Wichita; Ruby Blankenship, Fresno, California; Evelyn Seems, Enid, Oklahoma and Barbara Mehuron, Arkansas City, Kansas.

Grqveside services were held Thursday April 11 at the Halsteaad Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Roger Shank. Burial was in Halstead Cemetery.
