Obituary

Miss Christina Hege, 90, died at the Hospital on July 23, 1958 following a short illness. Miss Hege had lived in Harvey County for 57 years. She was a former school teacher. She was born October 19, 1867 in Iowa, daughter of Daniel and Christina Lichi Hege. Survivors: three nephews; John Hege of Halstead; Edgar Hege of Oxford; and Paul Hege, Wichita; three nieces, Mrs. Esther Ashcraft of Kingman; Mrs. Hulda Bewick of New York City and Miss Myrtle Hege of Perry, Kansas. Funeral services for Miss Hege will be held July 25 at the Kaufman Chapel with the Rev. Richard Vail of Sedgwick officiating. Kaufman Funeral Home in in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
