Obituary

Albert Edward Hege,77, passed away Wednesday morning, December 16, 1943 following a heart attack at his home, 3910 East English, Wichita, Kansas. The body will be brought to the Halstead cemetery for interment at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Mr. Hege was born at Halstead on July 22, 1886. He had been an appraiser for the Federal Land Bank at Wichita for the past several years.

Mr. Hege married Margaret Edna Todd on October 28, 1916 in Halstead. They had three children, Virginia, Mary Margaret and Helen Craig. One daughter, Virginia, preceded him in death on June 29, 1937. Survivors are the widow, Margaret, daughters, Mrs. Lyman K. Smith of Hollywood, Florida and Helen, a junior student at the University of Wichita; two brothers, Carl F. Hege of Halstead and Dan C. Hege of Escondido, California and one sister, Mrs. Charles Sayler of Los Gatos, California.
