Donald Gene Hege, 63, Newton, died Saturday, February 10, 1996 at Newton Medical Center in Newton. He was born November 4, 1932 at Halstead, son of Chrles R. and Minnie M. Giersch Hege. He attended the First Church of God at Newton.

Survovors: brother, Richard Hege, Newton; six sisters, Mary Zimmer, Kissimmee, Florida; Deloris Sexauer, DeSoto, Texas; Charlene Riedlinger, Dodge City; Elsie Challans, Salina; Ruth Cole, Cochise, Arizona and Linda Bemiss, Newton

Funeral was February 13 at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Thompson presiding. Burial was in Halstead Cemetery.
