Dora L (Leisy) Haury

Mrs. Dora L. Haury, 91, died Monday, August 28, 1972 at Bethel Home for the Aged, Newton, after a short illness. Born August 3, 1881 at Oskaloosa, Iowa, she was married to Edwin Haury July 26, 1925 at Aberdeen, Idaho. He died in 1926. She lived in Halstead for 47 years. She was a member of the First Mennonite Church in Halstead.

Survivors include a stepson, Orville, Halstead; stepdaughter, Mrs. Marvin Goering; Mooundridge; sister, Mrs. Lydia Wedel Aberdeen, Idaho; brothers, Albert Leisy, Aberdeen, Idaho; August Leisy, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the church with burial in the Hastead Cemetery.
