Obituary

Greensburg: Mildred Parkin, 73, Greensburg died Tuesday at the Kiowa County Memorial Hospital here from injuries received in a car accident. Born Janauary 2, 1894 at Douglas, Kansas she was married to Harry G. Versen on April 7, 1912 at Greensburg. He died in 1940. She was married to Herbert Parkin on October 24, 1943 at Newton, Kansas. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Greensburg; the Order of the Eastern Star and the Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors: the wiidower; stepson, Charles, Coldwater; daughter, Mrs. Janice Elliott, Halstead; brother, Floyd Frost, Halstead; one grandchild; one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held at the Church. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery, Halstead, Kansas.
