Obituary

Marion D. Parker, 72, 327 Justice, died Wednesday at Grace Hospital after a brief illness. He was born August 21, 1897 at Burrton and was a retired farmer. He had lived in Hutchinson for six years, moving here from Burrton.

He married Bessie Stutzman in December of 1919. She died in 1963. He attended Friends Church of Hutchinson and was a member of the Gideons.

Survivors: son, James M. Parker, 829 Duffy Road; sisters, Mrs. Kate Crouch, Wichita; Mrs. Nellie Vollweider, Winfield and two trandchildren.

Funeral was held at Volkland Chapel with Rev. D. B. Clouse and Rev. Lowell Thornburg. Burial will be in Star Cemetery, rural Burrton, Kansas.
