Obituary

Carrie R. Stutzman, born January 30, 1877 on a farm five miles southwest of Halstead, died January 9, 1967 in the Meadows Nursing Home at Emporia after a long illness. She would have reached the age of 90 on January 30th.

She was married to Amos Frank Stutzman December 20, 1896. He preceded her in death. In addition to a daughter, Bessie and a son Bert who also preceded her in death.

Survivors: daughter, Mrs. Hans Vollweider, Halstead; and four sons, Arthur of Anaheim, California; Raymond of Hutchinson; Marion of Halstead nd Floyd of Haven. Two sisters, Mrs. Mary Duckett of Taloga, Oklahoma and Mrs. Edd Nelson of Newton and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were conducted January 13 at the First Methodist church. Burial was in Halstead cemetery.
