Obituary

Marion Stutzman, 82, Halstead died August 9, 1994 at the Halstead Hospital. He was born September 28, 1911, son of Frank and Carrie Cadwell Stutzman, rural Burrton. A long time area resident, he farmed in rural Burrton and north of Halstead before moving to Halstead in 1965 where in 1992 he retired from the Hertzler Clinic.

He was a member of the Halstead United Methodist Church and instrumental in organizing and supporting the Halstead Senior Citizens Center.

On July 27, 1933, he married Martha Jane Hahn. She died July 7, 1984. He married Virginia Raleigh on August 30, 1985. She survives.

Other survivors: sons, John and wife, Betty, Halstead and Donald Stutzman and wife Lu, Woodward, Oklahaoma; daughter, Carol Franks and husband Lee, Fort Lupton, Colorado; stepdaughter, Sharon Pruitt and husband Tom, Green Mouontain Falls, Colorado; step-son, Greg Raleigh and wife Carol, Hesston; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mabel Vollweider and Bessie Parker and two brothers, Bert Stutzman and Arthur Stutzman.

Funeral was August 12 at the United Methodist church with burial in Halstead Cemetery.
