Obituary

Mabel Vollweider, 91, Friendly Acres Newton, formerly of Halstead, a homemaker died January 11, 1l89 at Newton Medical Center.

She was born September 15, 1897 in Burrton, daughter of Frank and Carrie Stutzman. On March 15, 1919 she married Hans Vollweider in Burrton. He died February 27, 1978. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Halstead; Order of the Eastern Star and United Methodist Women, all of Halstead.

Survivors: one son, Frank of Halstead; three brothers, Marion Stutzman of Halsteaad; Floyd Stutzman of Haven and Raymond Stutzman of Hutchinson; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held at the church with burial in Halstead Cemetery.
