Obituary

Eva M. Gooch, 79, died May 4, 1984 at St. Catherine Hospital, Garden City, Kansas. Born Eva Stutzman, May 24, 1904, at Lakin, she married John J. Miller, He died October 31, 1953. She married Paul Baumgartner. He died in 1968. She married Charles E. Gooch in 1972. She had been a resident of Burrton since 1972. Survivors: Husband, Charles Gooch of the home; daughter, Beulah Myers, Lakin; stepson, Charles E. Gooch Jr., Wichita; one grandchild; one great grandchild. Funeral services were held at Kaufman Chapel in Halstead with burial in the Halstead cemetery.
