Obituary

Michael Ray Wright, 9, died following a fall from the top step of the diving board structure at the Halstead Municipal swimming pool on August 171, 1974. After a full and complete investigation of the accident, it was concluded that it was an unpreventable accident.

Michael was the son of Mr. & Mrs. Ted Wright. He was born in Halstead and had lived in this community all of his life.

Services were held at the Kaufman Funeral chapel because the family's church was closed temporarly closed for renovation. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
