Obituary

Edwin R. Regier, 73, Burrton, died Wednesday February 11, 1998 at Kidron Bethel Village, North Newton.

Born September 16, 1924 in rural Harvey County, he was the son of Ed F. and Helen Dalke Regier. A lifetime resident of Harvey County, he was a self employed farmer and stockman. He was a member of First Mennonite Church in Halstead.

On Decembe 2, 1943 he married Evelyn L. Stutzman in rural Burrton. She survives. Other survivors: son, Duane E. Regier, Burrton; daughter, Dianna S. Harms, Colorado Springs, Colorado; brother, Wilbert Regier, Wichita; sisters, Evelyn R. Adler, Newton; Verda Johnson, Halstead; stepbrother, Eldon Ratzlaff, Wichita; stepsister, Virgie Enns, Colorado Springs; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed R. Regier and Helen (Ratzlaff) Regier; stepbrother, Wilbur Ratzlaff and a stepsister, Naomi D. Winsky.

Graveside services were held at the Halstead Cemetery with Burial there.
