Obituary

Lloyd C. W ight, died Tuesday, December 19, at the Halstead Hospital following a heart attack on November 29. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Methodist church with Rev. A. C. Brown officiating and burial was in the Halstead cemetery. Kaufman and Dreese were in charge of arrangements. Mr. Wright was 51 years of age at the time of his passing. He was a truck driver for Harvey county, and had formerly operated a transfer business here, then was bulk station agent for the K-T Oil company. He married Mary E. Williams in 1935 at Halstead, who survives. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Alice Wright; two brothers, Harland of Halstead and Claude of Newton; and three sisters, Mrs. Fred Stahl of Newton, Mrs. O. M. Sargent of Glendale, California and Mrs. Dewey Brown of Hutchinson.
