Frederick Ernest Stahl, lifelong resident of Harvey County and retired farmer, died at Axtell Christian Hospital on January 22, 1951. He had just observed his 63rd birthday early this month. He had been in ailing health for sometime and admitted to the hospital just 12 hours before his deqth. He lived at 601 Southeast 6th Street, Newton.

Born January 6, 1888 in Newton, Mr. Stahl was the son of Herman and Johanna Stahl and was engaged in farming throughout most of his life. He and Mrs. Stahl were married on June 10, 1915 at Halstead. He was a member of the Lutheran church.

In addition to his wife, Pearl, he is survived by three brothers; Will of Newton, Edward J. of Sedgwick and Henry of Clements; two sisters, Mrs. Ed (Emma) Kleiwer of Newton and Mrs. O. W. (Dora) Nelms of Danville, Illinois and a sister-in-law, Bertha Wormeek of Newton.

Services were held at the Draper Funeral Home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
