Obituary

Blanche A. Beal, 101, died December 25, 2004 at Halstead Health and Rehabilitation in Halstead. She was born December 21, 1903 to Clarence and Bessie Woodman Nicholson in rural Maize. She was a longtime resident of Sedgwick and a member of Sedgwick Christian Church.

Survivors: son-in-law, Don Grattan of Sedgwick; daughter-in-law, Delores Jean Beal of Overland Park, grandchildren, Cristi Howell of Valley Center, Curt, Kerry and Kevin Grattan of Sedgwick, Rick Beal of Wichita, Ron Beal of Lenexa, Carol Dickens and Connie Frics of Overland Park and Chris Beal of San Dieto.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Wilma Jean Grattan, and a son, James W. Beal Jr; two sisters, Mary Galyardt and Louise Hannah; and two brothers, Paul Nicholson and Lee Nicholson.

Graveside services were held at Hillside Cemetery iin Sedgwick.
