Obituary

Charles D. "Don" Grattan passed away on November 29, 2005. He was born November 30, 1927 at Newton, Kansas to Maude Watts and Charles Grattaan and resided in the Sedgwick community his entire life.

Don was a retired farmer, trucking company owner and an accomplished carpenter and craftsman. He married Wilma Jean Beal on April 20, 1950 and she preceded him in death.

Survivors: daughter, Cristi Howell, Valley Center; sons, Curt, Kerry and Kevin all of Sedgwick; 10 grandchildren and 6 greatgrandchildren. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Halstead.

Rosary will be December 1 and the funeral service will be December 2. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick.
