Obituary

Victor E. Chesky III, 48, Hunt, Texas, former Halstead resident, died Monday July 30, 2001 at San Antonio, Texas.

He was born March 5, 1953 at Halstead, son of Victor E. Jr. and Dolores Custer Chesky. He was a graduate of Collegiate High School, Wichita and he earned a bachelor of scoence from Hardin-Simmons University, Abilene, Texas, and a masters in busines administration from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas.

He had been a resident of Hunt, Texas, for 10 years. He was an insurance agent and was a member of the Southern Oaks Baptist Church and the Rotary Club, both of Kerryville, Texas. He was also a member of C.L.U. and C.H.F.C. board of young associates. of Hardin Simmons University, Abilene, Texas.

Survivors: son, Morgan Victor Chesky and daughter, Catlin Chesky; both of Kerryville, Texas; two brothers, Eric C. Chesky, St. Helena, California and Bill P. Chesky, Gilbert, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jack Chesky.

Memorial services were held at the First Presbyterian Church in Halstead with burial in the Halstead Cemetery.
