Obituary

Betty L. Niles. 71. died May 13, 2007 at her residence in Sedgwick. She was born January 11, 1936 in Halstead to Theodore and Lucille Taylor Rupp. On July 19, 1955, she married C. Dale Niles at Clovis, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1995.

She was an active member of the Sedgwick United Methodist Church and a member of the Esther circle of the church. She was also a charter member of the Amitie Federated Women's Club. Betty enjoyed cooking. She greatly looked forward to spending time with her loving family and friends and especially following her two beloved grandchildren's activities.

She is survived by son, Doug and Rae Niles of Sedgwick; daughter, Teresea and Garth McGinn of Bel Aire; grandson, Andy Niles of Sedgwick, granddaughter, Abby Niles of Sedgwick; brother, Don Rupp of Halstead; sister-in-law, Helen Lehmann of Wichita.

She was preceded in death by father and mother, Theodore and Lucille Rupp, brother Charles Lehmann, and husband C. Dale Niles; two grandchildren.

Services will be held at Sedgwick United Methodist Church with private burial in Hillside Cenetery at Sedgwick.
