Michael Benewiat

Michael Benewiat, 74, died May 25, 1009 in Newton, Kansas. He was born November 21, 1934 at Hocaek, Poland. He was owner/operator of Mike's Barber Shop.

On September 11,1956 he married Mary Alice Morris at Wichita, Kansas. She died December 12, 2006. Survivors: sons Daniel (Tammy) Benewiat; John (Mona) Benewiat; Steve Benewiat and Mark (Reanna() Benewiat, all of Halstead; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 28 at Kaufman Funeral Home. Service will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead with Father Steven Baxter officiating. Burial will follow at the Halstead Cemetery.
