Obituary

Mrs. Ola Murry, a lifelong resident of the Halstead community, died Sunday May 15, 1966 at Country View Nursing Home at the age of 87. She had resided in the rest home for the past 14 months.

Born January 11, 1879, she was the daughter of the late N. L. and Alice Jane Walker Hinshaw. She was married to John Murry on April 26, 1900 in Halstead. Her husband preceded her in death in 1947.

She was a member of the First Methodist church, the Order of Eastern Star and the Women's Civic Club, all of Halstead.

Surviving members of the immediate family include one son, Orris Murry of Santa Ana, California; one daughter, Mrs. Leo Mahler of Halstead. One brother, Orris Hinshaw of Halstead and three brandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral service were conducted at the Kaufman Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James Andrews officiating. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
