Obituary

Died. Goodwine - On Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, Richard Haven, youngest son of John and Mary Goodwine, from cholera infantum, age five months and twenty days. The funeral sermon was preached at the house of the parents, and the burial service at the grave, by their Pastor, Rev. Guy Hamilton.

The absence of Richard leaves a vacuum in the family circle and in the affections of those who love him; our loss is his gain. It is not needed to offer any word of counsel to the afflicted, as their deep experience, and knowledge of Divine truth led them to the true fountain from which comfort and help come. Do not these dispensations of a Divine providence speak to one and all and say, "be ye also ready."
