Obituary

Clarence Arthur (Toby) Farber passed away in the local hospital Sunday, August 9, 1964 reaching the age of 56 years. Born the son of August and Ketherine M. Vogt Farber on March 24, 1908, he attended rural schools around Halstead. He was a resident of Wichita for the past 11 years prior to moving to Halstead about four months ago. He was a machinist for Beach Aircraft for the past 14 years. On June 7, 1031 he married Marie Lentz in Hutchinson and she preceded him in death on March 20, 1962.

Survivors: daughter, Mrs. Boyd Koehn, Halstead; son, Robert of Rural Sedgwick; one brother, Johnny Farber of Halstead and two sisters; Mrs. Chester Heatwole of Salina and Mrs. Charles Jamison of Forney, Texas and four grandchildren.

Services were conducted from the United Presbyterian Church August 12, 1964. Burial was in the Halstead cemetery with the Kaufman Funeral Home in charge of arrngements.
